Living with this music...

By the age of 19, Olivia Smiley had already obtained the titles of Kentucky & Ohio State Fiddle Champion & Governor's Cup Winner twice each, the Indiana State Champion & Governor's Cup winner, three-time winner of the Indiana State Fair, and was runner-up at the prestigious Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas, two times.  Olivia was a top-ten finalist in the Grand Masters Fiddle Championship held in Nashville in conjunction with IBMA's World of Bluegrass and has judged contests including the Kentucky State Championships and The Indiana State Fair.
A classically trained musician, Olivia fell in love with bluegrass music at the age of 14, and released her first solo album in 2005.  Playing music has allowed Olivia the opportunity to play many wonderful venues.  She toured with and graced the Grand Old Opry stage with Pam Tillis, toured with Larry Sparks for his 2009 season, and with her own band appeared at The Palladium in Carmel, Indiana and the Bill Monroe Memorial Bluegrass Festival at Bean Blossom.

Olivia has recorded two albums.  The self titled "Olivia Smiley" and most recently "Bright Lights and Avenues".  Both are available at cdbaby.com and on itunes.
